Celebrating a new living and learning community

Above, Dr. Joe Brockinton, vice president for student life, addresses students inside Southern Wesleyan University’s newest residence hall, currently under construction along Wesleyan Drive. Standing at left is SWU president Dr. Todd Voss, and in the foreground is the Rev. Ken Dill, SWU’s associate vice president for spiritual life and chaplain. On March 15, students gathered in the new residence hall for a special chapel to pray and to celebrate how the new facility can be used to impact future students. The new residence hall will open to students this August. Below, Ethan Ekback of Seneca writes a Bible verse on one of the wall studs inside the new residence hall. Students, faculty and staff then wrote on the walls and beams verses of scripture and inspirational thoughts at the conclusion of the chapel service in the residence hall.
