EASLEY — Less than a day after family remembers reported him missing, the body of a Clemson University athletic department official was found near his home on Tuesday.

Associate athletic director of planned giving Bert Henderson was last heard from late Sunday night and reported missing around 3:45 p.m. Monday afternoon after he failed to show up for work, according to Anderson County Sheriff’s Office public information officer Lt. Sheila Cole.
