Clemson University tuition on the rise again

Board of trustees also votes to honor first black student

CLEMSON — Before presenting a proposed tuition increase to the school’s board of trustees last Thursday afternoon, both Clemson University president Jim Clements and Brett Dalton, the school’s vice president for finance and operations, took time to explain the setting of tuition and fees is dependent on the amount of funding the state provides to the university.
