• Midway Baptist to host Tugalo Holler

Midway Baptist Church will host a bluegrass and gospel show on March 29.

Tugalo Holler will be performing starting at 6 p.m.

Everyone is invited to come enjoy an evening of song and fellowship. A love offering will be taken during the service.

• Mt. Tabor to start Missions Market

Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, beginning in April 11 will begin to host Missions Market (yard sale) in our parking lot. Missions Market will be open the second Saturday of each month from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. The church will have table rentals for $8 each. Refreshments will be available. Cancelled if raining. For more information call Misty at 864-314-6359. Mt. Tabor Baptist Church is located at 4174 Dacusville Highway, Easley. All proceeds will go to various missions each month.

• SCACFW plans meeting March 28

The South Carolina Chapter of American Christian Fiction Writers will meet Saturday, March 28, from 2-5 p.m. at North Anderson Baptist Church, 2308 N. Main Street in Anderson. Prolific writer and social media guru Edie Melson will lead a free class on “Writing Roadblocks.” Visitors are encouraged to attend the meeting, and there is no registration fee. A manuscript critique session for chapter members will take place the last half of the meeting, and visitors are welcome to participate by listening and offering feedback. Attendees are encouraged to park on the side of the church with the long handicap ramp, come in the double glass doors, take the elevator to the second floor and go left down the hall. Dress is casual.

• Sertoma Club invites locals to meet

The Clemson Sertoma Club invites all interested local residents to attend its meetings. The club meets at noon the first and third Tuesdays of each month at Occasions at Wedgefield, located at 1551 Eighteen Mile Road in Central. New visitors are always welcome.

• Liberty Masons to host car show

The Liberty Masonic Lodge #235 will host a fundrasiser to help with the scholarship offered for Liberty area graduating seniors on March 28 from 10 am – 2 pm at Ingles Parking Lot.  The event will feature a car show and music fro 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. There will be door prizes, hot dog plates for sale and lots of fun. Registration $15 per car. Trophies will be given for the best in each class. In case of rain the event will be held on April 4.

• Chambers plan event at Duke Energy

The Oconee Pickens Chamber Coalition along with AnMed Health, The UPS Store of Clemson, Nexsen Pruet, Leslie and Associates, Dads and Lads and Duke Energy invite you to a Business After Hours on Thursday March 26 at Duke World of Energy located at 7812 Rochester Highway Seneca from 5:30 pm-7 p.m.
