BY VIRTUE of a decree heretofore granted in the case of: South State Bank vs. Mark F. Patterson a/k/a Mark Patterson; Heather Patterson a/k/a Heather B. Patterson; C/A No. 2016-CP-39-01263, the following property will be sold on Monday, June 5, 2017, at 11:00 AM at the Pickens County Courthouse to the highest bidder:

All that certain piece, parcel or lot of land lying and being situate in the State of South Carolina, County of Pickens, and situate in the City and County of Pickens, State of South Carolina, according to plat of T. Craig Keith, Surveyor, dated March 8, 1965, to-wit:

“Beginning at an iron pin located at southwest corner of lot hereby conveyed, said iron point being 18 feet from center line of Pine View Circle, and running thence S49-00E 200 feet; thence N75-32E 238 feet; thence N69-00W 358.8 feet to iron pin on east side of Pine View Circle; and running thence along Pine View Circle S42-00W 73 feet to the point of Beginning, and being bounded on as follows: North by Werner; Southeast by Acker; Southwest by Bolding; and West by Pine View Circle.”

This property is conveyed to Mark F. Patterson by deed of Hazel D. Nabors and Catherine Day dated August 26, 1994 and recorded in Deed Book 252, Page 158 in the Register of Deeds Office for Pickens County, SC; thereafter, Mark Patterson conveyed a fifty percent (50%) interest in the property to Heather Patterson by deed dated August 28, 2007 and recorded on September 7, 2007 in Deed Book 1131, Page 141 in the Register of Deeds Office for Pickens County, SC.

TERMS OF SALE: A 5% deposit in certified funds is required at the time of the bid . The deposit will be applied towards the purchase price unless the bidder defaults, in which case the deposit will be forfeited. If the successful bidder fails, or refuses, to make the required deposit on the day of sale or fails or refuses to comply with the bid within 20 days, then the property will be resold at the bidder’s risk. Personal or deficiency judgment having been demanded or reserved, the sale will remain open for thirty (30) days pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. §15-39-720 (1976).
