RUTH E. CRAWFORD KELLEY

SIX MILE — Ruth E. Crawford Kelley, 88, widow of Earl Kelley, passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020, at her residence.
Ruth was born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late George and Ida Nix Crawford. She was a former employee of Elljean Textiles in Pickens. Ruth enjoyed making homemade quilts and various types of jellies.
Surviving are daughters, Diane Bryant of Six Mile and Glenora Arnold of Liberty; and a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ruth was predeceased by sons, Ricky Donald, Lewis Donald and Doug Donald; and a daughter, Brenda Lewis.
Funeral services were held on Jan. 9 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, with burial following at the Kings Grove Baptist Church cemetery.

LOUNELLE SIMMONS

PICKENS — Lounelle Simmons, 86, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020, in Pickens.
Born in Pickens, she was the daughter of the late William Franklin Nealy and Bertie Evette Nealy, and wife of the late Sherril Dean Simmons.
She was a member of Griffin Baptist church in Pickens.
Survivors include three sons, Douglas Simmons (Phyllis) of Easley, Michael Simmons of Pickens and Keith Simmons of North Carolina; two daughters, Jayne Stancell and Judith Rivers (John), both of Pickens; two brothers, Garland Nealy of Texas and Carl Nealy of Georgia; and two sisters, Wilma McKinney of Greenville and Frances Giese (Larry) of Greenville. She also leaves seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild to share in her memory.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Graveside services were held on Jan. 8 at the Griffin Baptist Church cemetery.

WILLIAM DEWITT MOSELEY

EASLEY — William DeWitt Moseley, 81, went to be with his Lord on Monday, Dec. 30, 2019.
Born in Wauchula, Fla., he was the son of the late Luke and Mildred Groff Moseley and husband of Barbara Moseley.
Bill and his wife served as missionaries for 20 years in Brazil and 10 years in Central Asia. He continued his ministry as pastor of various churches in the upstate of South Carolina after retirement. He loved serving the Lord, and served until his last day.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; a son, Billy Moseley (Lynn) of Easley; and two daughters, Liz Butler (Stu) of Anderson and Becky Alonso (Tony) of Wuhan, China. William also leaves six grandchildren, Julianna Wolfla (Chris) of Greer, Maddy Butler of Greer, Caleb Alonso of Wuhan, China, Autumn Moseley of Easley, Tori Alonso of Wuhan, China, and Ashton Moseley of Easley; and numerous relatives to share in his memory.
Memorial services were held on Jan. 4 at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Easley. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

EDWARD EARL TALLEY

PICKENS — Edward Earl Talley, 89, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, in Pickens.
Born in Cleveland, he was the son of the late Perry C. Talley and Ressie Chastain Talley.
Ed proudly served his country in the United States Army at Ft. Bragg during the Korean War. He was also a member at East Pickens Baptist Church of Pickens.
Survivors include two sons, Eddie E. Talley Jr. and Eugene Talley, both of Pickens; a daughter, Elaine Talley Murray (Mike) of Pickens; three grandchildren, Sarah Talley, Matthew Murray (Rebecca) and Casey Murray (Amanda); and seven great-grandchildren, Savannah Murray, Hayden Murray, Declan Murray, Ali-Gayle Murray, Ava Murray, Adalynn Murray and Annabelle Murray.
In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by a brother, Alvin Talley; two sisters, Margaret Gravely and Bobbie Jo Johnson; and a son, Earnie Talley.
A memorial service was held on Jan. 4 in the Dillard Funeral Home chapel. Burial followed in the Veterans Garden at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

ANGELA ANN SARGENT

SUNSET — Angela Ann Sargent, 50, wife of John G. Sargent, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020.
Angela is survived by her husband, John; mother, Connie Jones of Peru, Ind.; sons, Alex Wolfe and Bruce Hoover; a daughter, Lindsey Wolfe; three grandchildren; and a brother, Adam Jones, all of Peru, Ind.
She was predeceased by her father, Bruce LeRoy Jones.
The family will host a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at Landmark Baptist Church in Easley, with a visitation starting an hour prior at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary.
Angela was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and was the founder of Two Hearts Wildlife Rehab.

MINNIE MARGE FRANZ

EASLEY — Minnie Marge Franz, 78, born in Elizabeth, N.J., passed on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020.
Minnie is survived by two daughters, Danielle Luciano (Edward Cavanaugh) and Dorothy Kube; two sons, Claude Franz and Charles Franz; four grandchildren, Frankie and Christopher Giannazzo and Jordan and Brielle Cavanaugh; and two great-grandchildren; Conner and Gavin Giannazzo.
Minnie was predeceased by her parents, Mike Franz and Eleanor Hickman, four brothers and four sisters.

JEANNE “DEEDIE” HANCOCK

EASLEY — Mrs. Jeanne Johnstone “Deedie” Hancock, 97, wife of the late Col. Daniel Ward Hancock, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020.
Born Jan. 16, 1922, in Newberry, Mrs. Hancock was a daughter of the late Thomas Kennerly and Jeanne Pelham Johnstone. She graduated from Newberry High School in 1939 and received her B.A. degree in English from Newberry College in 1943. She received many awards for singing at both the high school and college levels. Mrs. Hancock was a homemaker, an Army wife for 20 years, and a former Girl Scout leader. A former member of Aveleigh Presbyterian Church in Newberry, she was a longtime member of Easley Presbyterian Church, where she was a past president of the Women of the Church. She was a former member of the Better Homes Club of Easley.
Surviving are two daughters, Pelham H. Edmonds and her husband, Robert, of Charlotte, N.C., and Jeanne H. Burgess and her husband, Richard, of Spartanburg; a son, Daniel Ward Hancock Jr., and his wife, Ann, of Easley; six grandchildren, Amanda Hunt (Will), Ward Burgess, Richard Burgess (Holly), Laura Holt (Nick), Daniel Hancock (Angela) and Brantly Moore (Kent); nine great-grandchildren, Georgia and Amelia Hunt, Sara, Andrew and Julia Burgess, Charlotte Holt,  and Joel, Martin and Derek Hancock; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hancock was predeceased by three brothers, Alan, Thomas and Ellerbe Johnstone; and two sisters, Brantly Alexander and Lilla Breazeale.
Graveside funeral services were held on Jan. 11 in the Johnstone Family Cemetery in Newberry, with the Rev. Dr. Christie S. Gravely officiating.

ELAINE ALLGOOD CAUTHEN

PICKENS — Mrs. Elaine Allgood Cauthen, beloved wife of Rex Edward Cauthen, went home to be with her Lord and Savior after a four-year illness on Jan. 8, 2020.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Joel Edward Allgood and Evelyn Heath Allgood, Elaine was retired from Furman University after 31 years of service. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Elaine loved music, and before health issues prevented her from sharing her musical talent, she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed cross-stitching, collecting antiques and researching family genealogy.
Surviving, in addition to her devoted husband of 48 years, are a daughter, Mandy Roberts (Scott) of Taylors; and two grandchildren whom she adored, Brandon and Lexie Roberts. She is also survived by a brother, Eddie Allgood (Debbie) of Pickens.
Funeral services were held on Jan. 11 at Dillard Funeral Home.

ALICE W. FOUTZ

CENTRAL — Alice West Foutz, 84, wife of Kenneth R. Foutz, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at the home of her daughter.
Alice was born in Roanoke County, Va., the daughter of the late Jaspar B. and Flora Etta Mullins West. She was a 1982 graduate of Southern Wesleyan University and earned a masters degree from Clemson University. Alice taught for 18 years at Crosswell Elementary School in Easley. She was a member of Alive Wesleyan Church and was a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa teachers sorority. She loved reading and cooking.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 64 years, are her daughter, Lisa Foutz Gantt and husband, Michael, of Central; grandchildren, Jonathan Gantt (Ashlyn), Leandra Hooper (Chris), Maria King (Dobson) and Ayden Gantt; and great-grandchildren, Case Gantt and Emersyn Hooper.
Funeral services were held on Jan. 11 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central, with Rev. Fred Andrews officiating. Entombment followed in the Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Shane (Heather) Kelly of Walhalla; a daughter, Carmen Kelly (Sarah Chavez) of Taylors; grandchildren, Zachery Schleicher, Austin Kelly, Emma Grace Kelly and Elijah Kelly; and brothers; Lonnie (Cindy) Snider and James Snider.

PICKENS — Sarah J. Rampey, 79, wife of 58 years to George W. Rampey Sr., passed on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020.
Sarah was a member of Gap Hill Baptist Church in Six Mile.
Sarah is survived by her husband, George; daughter, Malinda (Steven) Pressley of Seneca; a son, Wesley Rampey of Six Mile; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother; and four sisters.
Sarah was predeceased by her parents, Paul E. Jones and Virginia M. Jones; daughter-in-law, Pamela G. Rampey; one grandchild; and one sister.

LIBERTY — Mr. Tony Parker Bryant, 60, husband of Jacqueline “Jackie” O’Quinn Bryant, passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Harry Enos Bryant and the late Mildred Lois Sheriff Bryant, Mr. Bryant was an employee of Reliable Sprinkler and a member of Fellowship Community Church, Liberty. He was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 13 years, are four daughters, Mary Ann Patterson (Rodney) of Liberty, Jennifer Tyndal (David) of Moore, Amber Ellis (Blake) of Liberty and Shelley Clippard of Columbia; a son, Jake Clippard of Prosperity; a sister, Susan Simmons of Liberty; 23 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bryant was predeceased by a son, Jeremy Brandon Bryant; and three brothers, Ronnie, Dale and Jeffery Bryant.
The family hosted a memorial service on Jan. 11 at Fellowship Community Church.

EASLEY — James Lloyd “Jim” Powers, 73, of Kelly Road, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020.
Born on July 24, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he was a son of the late Millard Eugene “Dean” Powers and Mary Reid Powers.
Mr. Powers was retired from AYM Manufacturing in Albia, Iowa, after 25 years of dedicated service.
“Grandpa” was loved by all who met him.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Marcene Lynn McConnell Powers; a son, Bryan Powers (Mary) of Iowa City, Iowa; his “girls,” Anne Powers of Florida, Michelle Tucker (Steve) of Powdersville, Gerri Kuykendall of Asheville, N.C., Carri Beard of Waterloo, Iowa, August Powers of Des Moines, Iowa, Tiara Powers of Simpsonville and Nicole Powers of Easley; grandchildren, Jacob and Grace Powers, Kaylyn and Cody Mercer, Ryne and Brittany Tucker, Tim Turner and Frankie and Nevaeh Robinson; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert A. Powers of Holton, Kan.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Jordan Powers; a sister, Karen Sue Powers; and a brother, Donald E. Powers.

MATTIE RUTH “PAT” HART

EASLEY — Mattie Ruth “Pat” Hart, 90, wife of the late James Hart, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Samuel Pearce Gentry and the late Rachel Idella Sheriff Gentry, she was retired from Alice Manufacturing after 40 years of service and a member of Dacusville United Methodist Church in Easley.
Surviving are a sister, Ann Osborne of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, James P. Gentry and Allen L. Gentry; and sisters, Hazel Welborn, Ina O’Dell, and Mae Van Ballard.
Funeral services were held on Jan. 12 at Dacusville United Methodist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

WILLIE MAE ROPER

EASLEY — Willie Mae Roper, 92, born in Greenville County and daughter of the late John Seaborn Gilstrap and Vadie Simmons Gilstrap, was called home on Friday, Jan. 10, 2020.
She worked as a seamstress for a number of dedicated years with Swirl Industries. Ms. Roper had a soft spot for the Clemson Tigers and was frequently seen in Death Valley cheering to the tiger rag. Ms. Roper was a 65-plus-year member of Elljean Baptist Church. She loved to crochet, sew and put puzzles together and was a longtime member of the Pickens Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Powell (Larry) of Liberty; and two sons, James Roper Jr. and Jeffrey Roper, both from Easley. Ms Roper is also survived by one sister, Frances Sentell of Pickens; six loving grandchildren; and 13 precious and adorable great-grandchildren.
Ms. Roper wsa predeceased by sisters, Ruth Taylor and Mildred Seen; and a brother, Joe Gilstrap.
A graveside service was held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Jan. 12.

WILLENE MAXEY

NORRIS — Willene Rollins Maxey, 84, of Robinson Bridge Road, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at her home.
Born in Central, she was the wife of Bobby Alton Maxey and the daughter of the late Lewis C. and Alma Jewell Rollins.
She was a sweet and humble friend and neighbor. A wonderful cook, she loved feeding and spending time with her family. She was a loving and devoted Nana to her four grandchildren. She was an active member of Cateechee Baptist Church for as long as she was able and especially enjoyed preparing meals for the children at vacation Bible school each summer.
In addition to her husband of 63 years of the home, she leaves behind a son, Rickey Maxey (Vencie) of Conway, and a daughter Stephanie Hollifield (Brian) of Quitman, Ga.; a brother, Marion Rollins (Alma) of Central; and four grandchildren, William Maxey (Mary Frances) of Greenville, Lewis Hayden Maxey (Hannah) of Pendleton, and Rylee Hollifield and Josey Hollifield of Quitman, Ga.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larion Rollins.
Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Maxey were held on Jan. 14, 2020, at Cateechee Baptist Church. Burial followed the service at Norris Cemetery.

BONNIE PORTER

CENTRAL — Bernice “Bonnie” Montez Porter, 75, died peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, at the home of her niece, Cindy Perdrix, in Pickens.
Born in Pendleton, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Mildred Crowe Porter. She was a former employee of West Point Stevens and also the owner of Bonnie’s Hair Salon, where she was a cosmetologist for many years. She attended East Clemson Christian Fellowship. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, flowers, time with her precious family and friends and her church.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Robert (Evelyn) Porter, Virgil Porter, Maybelle Perry (J.W.) and Estelle Bolick (Curtis).
Funeral services for Ms. Porter will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, in the Liberty Mortuary chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Liberty Mortuary. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.

ALBERTA J. ALLEN

LIBERTY — Alberta J. Allen, born on June 17, 1930, on a ranch in Gunnison, Colo., to James and Marion Partch, passed away on Friday, Jan. 10, 2020.
Mrs. Alberta grew up and attended the local schools. After high school, Alberta attended some college courses at Western State College in Gunnison, Colo., and continued college courses at the College of the Redwoods in California.
Mrs. Alberta is survived by three daughters, Colleen Masters of Laguna, Calif., Rona (Peter) Baab of Liberty and Bobbie (Danny) Sheffield of Long Beach, Calif.; as well as a son, Ron (Jenny) Allen of Pasadena, Md.; and 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Pat (Merlin) Eller of Hubbard, Iowa.
Mrs. Alberta was predeceased by her husband, Bob (R.C) Allen; a son, Steve Allen; and three sisters.
Mrs. Alberta worked at the telephone company in Colorado and in California, then worked doing bookkeeping and accounting jobs in California and Maryland after moving to Maryland in 1970.
Mrs. Alberta always loved music and belonged to choral groups wherever she lived. She joined the Arundelair Chorus of Sweet Adelines in 1971 and sang with them for 19 years. During this time, Mrs. Alberta along with the group won first place regionally in 1976 and got to go to London, England, in 1977 for an international competition. While in London, England, Mrs. Alberta got to sing on the Royal Albert Stage.
Mrs. Alberta loved playing golf with different groups for fun. Berta and Pop loved to dance and belonged to Granite Baptist Church.
A funeral service was held on Jan. 13 in the chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home. Burial followed at Old Bethlehem Cemetery in Pickens.

TOMMY S. STANCELL

EASLEY — Tommy S. Stancell, 78, born in Anderson County and son of the late Dover Stancell and Flora Nell Meeks, was called home on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020.
He worked his career and retired from Platt Saco-Lowell as a machinist. Mr. Stancell enjoyed deal making and was often seen at the Pickens Jockey Lot on Wednesdays. Mr. Stancell was a member of Tabor United Methodist Church.
Surviving are sons, Michael Stancell (Kim) of Easley, Steven Stancell (Paula) of Pickens and Bill Stancell of Easley; and a daughter, Gwen Rochester of Anderson. Mr. Stancell has seven loving and adored grandchildren.
Mr. Stancell was predeceased by a son, Tony Stancell, and sisters, Barbara Durham and Vicki McConnell.
A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 3 p.m.

ELIZABETH ANN W. HENDRICKS BREWER

WESTMINSTER — Elizabeth Ann W. Hendricks Brewer, 76, wife of the late Lynn Brewer, went to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020.
Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late John Bowles Wallace and Sara Elizabeth Kelley Wallace.
Mrs. Brewer is a 1959 graduate of Pickens High School. Professionally, she worked as an administrative assistant with PRISMA and also worked in accounting. Her passions included sewing and crocheting. She loved her animals dearly. She was of the Christian faith and loved the Lord passionately.
Survivors include her sons, John Jr. “Jay” Hendricks (Sabrina), David Hendricks (Cindy) and Wes Hendricks; grandchildren, Bryan, Reagan, Frankie, Davis and Lillian Hendricks (their mother Lesli Hendricks); and her great-granddaughter, Zoe Hendricks; stepchildren, Terri Hughes (Mike), Mandy Rogers; step-great-grandson, Hunter Payne; and step-great-granddaughter, Bre-anna Childress (Kris); and step-great-great-granddaughter, Kinley Childress. She is also survived by her special friend, Connie Neal, who played a vital role in her care.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Lysbeth Lee; step-grandson, Chris Brewer; her parents; and her husband.
A memorial service was held at Westville Funeral Home on Jan. 13 in the chapel.

ARGYLE ELIZABETH PACE

PICKENS — Argyle Elizabeth Pace, 90, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020.
She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Onie Leslie and faithful wife of the late James Thurman Pace.
She loved God, family and friends and was loved by everyone who knew her. Argyle loved unconditionally and had a heart of gold. She loved to bake, cook, garden, sew and crochet. She loved to visit loved ones, carrying with her a vase of her lovely flowers or plate of baked goods. Her home was always a welcome place with a feast prepared on her table. Everyone loved her fried apple pies!
Her family is forever grateful for showing us how to love and care for others.
She was a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church until she was not able to attend.
Those left behind to carry on Argyle’s legacy are her son, Bill Pace (Londa) of Pickens; daughter, Jean Dilworth (Barry) of Easley; daughter, Janet Chastain (David) of Pickens; and son, Rodger Pace of Greenville. Also surviving are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she adored, Shane Pace (Tammy), Michael Pace, Brian Owens, Ashley Williams (Kevin), Jonathan Dilworth(Stacey), Pamela Clarkson (Zander), Davey Chastain (Sarah), Cameron Holder, Jared Pace, Abby Pace, Ali Pace, Matthew Owens, Faith Clarkson, Lily Clarkson, Ali Chastain, James Chastain, Ellie Williams, Asa Williams, Tucker Dilworth and Oakley Dilworth.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Owens, and a brother, Charles Leslie.
Her life will be celebrated at Dillard Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Highway, Pickens, on Thursday, Jan. 16. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m., with funeral services following at 1 p.m. The service will be officiated by Rev. Barry Dilworth and Rev. Buckshot Avant.

PICKENS — Jeanette McCall Crawford Turner, 77, passed away on Jan. 7, 2020, at her home following an illness.
Retired from Alice Manufacturing’s Foster Plant, she was of the Church of God faith and had the most kindhearted spirit. She loved her family, friends and dogs. She was a caregiver, always wanting to help others. Jeanette enjoyed working puzzles in her spare time and cooking for family.
Survivors include her daughter, Annette Hanley (Scott) of the home; one sister, Donna McAlister of Liberty; one brother, Robert “Bobby” McCall (Donna) of Piedmont; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Carl Eugene Crawford, and husband, Carl Turner Jr; her mother, Macie O’Shields McCall; her father, Oscar McCall; one brother, Oscar “Junior” McCall Jr.; one son, David Ray Turner; and one grandson, Anthony Chase Cobb.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 1-2:30 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:45 p.m. in the Dillard Funeral Home chapel, with Pastor David Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will be at the home.
Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or to the Alzheimer’s Association.

EASLEY — Elizabeth H. Simmons, 85, wife of the late Clifton Larry Simmons passed away on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020.
She was survived by her children, Lynne (Eric) Holder of Dacusville, Russell (Angel) Simmons of Easley, Steven Simmons of Easley; grandchildren, Andrew (Katie) Holder, Adam (Bethany) Holder, Jesse (Katelyn) Holder, Christina (Michael) Wilson, Brooke Jackson, Logan Simmons, Seth Simmons; great-grandchildren, Kylie Wilson and Reid Holder; and a brother, Furman Hayes of Easley.
She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene Hayes and Josie Mae Raines Hayes; her husband, Larry; a sister, Effie Crowe; and brothers, Truman Hayes and Melvin Hayes.
Elizabeth was a member of Elljean Baptist Church. She loved her family and made it her life as a homemaker as she raised her children and grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held for Mrs. Simmons.

JAMES TERRY OWENS

EASLEY — James Terry Owens, 79, of Sylvia Road, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020, at his home.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late George Thomas Owens Sr. and Ruth Waldrop Owens.
Mr. Owens was a retired engineer from the Fluor Corporation. He was a graduate of Clemson University and was a member of the ROTC. Following graduation, Mr. Owens proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed skiing and listen to music.
Mr. Owens was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four sisters, Margaret O. Garrett, Betty O. Harris, Juanita O. Simpson and Ida Lou O. Pitts; and two brothers, George T. Owens Jr. and Lionel Owens.
Surviving are 17 nieces and nephews. A private burial will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Robinson Funeral home is assisting the Owens family.
