LIBERTY — Voters in Liberty will go to the polls to pick the newest city council member during a special election on Tuesday, March 6.

The Liberty City Council Ward 4 seat became vacant when councilman Brian Petersen was elected mayor last year.

There will be no names on the ballot when voters take to the polls, as no candidates filed for the seat during the initial filing
