Local dancer performs at Spoleto Festival

Easley’s Lillian Goodman was invited to perform with the College of Charleston in the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston. Goodman received the invite from the head professor of the dance department at the College of Charleston, Gretchen McClaine. Goodman was part of the Emerging Artists Concert Series on Saturday and Sunday, where she performed her solo, “Papa Can You Hear Me.” The solo was choreographed by Goodman’s mother, Suzanne Goodman, and her sister, Madeline Goodman. Her sister is currently a junior at College of Charleston, double majoring in marine biology and dance. Goodman is currently a student at Foothills Dance Arts under the artistic direction of Suzanne Goodman.
