Officials talk future of fire service

COUNTY — The Pickens County Emergency Services Advisory Board is proposing a funding plan aimed at improving fire service across the county, but some council members and residents are questioning their methods.

The proposal was presented at Monday’s Pickens County Council Committee of the Whole meeting.
