Pickens Knights of Columbus disperse fundraising money

The Knights of Columbus of Council 9576 presented checks to help area organizations on Monday. Above left, Pickens Elementary School’s Lacey Rogers and Donna Harden recieve a check from Phil Cournoyer, co-chairman of the Columbus HOPE Foundation, for the school’s special ed program. Top right, Mounted Ministries’ Cathey Childers Childers is presented a check from Joe Weidemann, co-chairman of the Columbus HOPE Foundation, to sponsor two special needs children in their three-day Hallelujah Summer Horse Camp. Bottom left, Amy Goudelock of Happy Hooves is presented a check from Weidemann to help provide equine assisted learning for Happy Hooves riders with intellectual disabilities. PICKENS — On Monday, The Knights of Columbus of Council 9576 of Pickens presented checks to four entities serving special needs children and adults in Pickens County.
