COUNTY — Pickens County voters will head to the polls one more time next Tuesday for the 2018 Republican primary runoffs.

On the local level, it’s do or die in the race between incumbent Neal Collins and Alan Quinn for S.C. State House District 5 seat. Collins nearly avoided the runoff in last week’s primary, getting 49 percent of the vote compared to Quinn’s 26 percent. The winner of the runoff will face no opposition in November,
