Stapleton named new hospital CFO

EASLEY — Kathleen Stapleton was recently appointed Baptist Easley’s chief financial officer (CFO).

Stapleton has been with Baptist Easley since 2009 and has served as interim CFO since October 2014.

A certified health finance professional, Stapleton has a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame and graduated with highest honors (top 10 in her class).

Prior to coming to Baptist Easley, she worked as assistant vice president for finance at the Menniger Clinic in Houston, Texas, and as controller at Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center, also in Houston.

Previously, she worked at several other hospitals, as well as Ernst and Whitney in Houston and Blue Cross of Southwest Ohio in Cincinnati.

Stapleton and her husband have four children. She is actively involved with St. Joseph Catholic School in Greenville and sings in her church choir in Seneca.
