TD Bank names Cal Hurst

Hurst will be responsible for managing a team of commercial bankers to expand TD’s market share by extending the bank’s brand of legendary service to both its customers and the community.

Hurst, who has more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry, began his career in 2005 with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. In 2006, he joined RBC Centura, which was later acquired by PNC Bank. He most recently served as market president for PNC Bank’s Greenville market.

“Cal has a proven track record for relationship-focused banking, and he brings extensive knowledge of the Upstate to this role,” TD Bank market president David Lominack said. “His strong sales background will be an asset to the team as we continue to expand our commercial portfolio.”

Hurst said he is “very pleased to be joining TD Bank” and “excited to take on this new role.”

“I look forward to working with our team of seasoned, knowledgeable bankers to continue fostering relationships in the Upstate and providing legendary customer service,” he said.

Hurst is heavily involved in the community and serves on several boards, including the Furman University Alumni Board of Directors, Furman University Young Alumni Council and United Way School Readiness Committee. He also serves as a volunteer for the Children’s Museum of the Upstate and Greenville Head Start.

Hurst earned his bachelor of arts in business administration and economics from Furman University.
