Upstate Alliance head briefs Pickens County Council on economic trends

PICKENS — Economic development announcements that create thousands of new jobs are on the decline nationwide, but the changing landscape can provide opportunities, Upstate Alliance president John Lummus told Pickens County Council at a meeting earlier this month.

Upstate Alliance members have to respond to economic development trends in order to “not leave money on the table and jobs on the table,” Lummus said.
