PICKENS — Those interested in adopting a pet from the Pickens County Animal Shelter now have a place to take a dog out for a test run or jump or belly rub.

The Leadership Pickens County Class of 2018 held a ribbon cutting of the Leadership Legacy Park at the shelter Monday morning.

At the start of the ceremony, LPC Class of 2018 chair Sharon Johnson asked her classmates to take a big sigh of relief.
