Easley intersection named after former State Sen. Larry Martin

EASLEY — The intersection of U.S. Highway 123 and S.C. Highway 153 now bears the name of a man who long advocated for the extension of one of its component highways.
Saturday morning, a sign designating the Senator Larry A. Martin Intersection was unveiled.

New 13th Circuit solicitor named

COLUMBIA — Gov. Henry McMaster appointed Cindy S. Crick as new solicitor for the 
13th Judicial Circuit via an executive order Friday.
Crick’s appointment followed the resignation of Solicitor Walt Wilkins, who announced his retirement on May 29 after serving more than 14 years in the office.
