A faithful Christian, Ruby was a devoted wife and caregiver to her late husband, Tom, and took great joy from being a loving mother figure to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and any other children who needed love and a hug. Ruby and Tom’s door was always open.

Regrets in retirement

I  was eavesdropping on two senior ladies in a big box store, specifically in the furniture aisle. Being discussed was a very large TV cabinet with doors and shelving. While it was on sale, the price was apparently not enticing.
