EASLEY — The Easley Green Wave, 2011 Region I-AAAA basketball champions, led the way with a trio of selections to the All-Region team announced recently.
In addition, first-year Green Wave head coach Grant Stallard was named Region Coach of the Year.
Easley’s Spencer Collins, Troy McGowens and Tim Pickel each earned All-Region honors.
Westside also had three selections to the All-Region team, followed by Wren with two, and Hanna, Greenwood, Laurens and Woodmont with one.
On the girls’ side of the All-Region voting, Easley’s Bethany Hansen was selected.
