3rd annual Wings and Wheels for Meals set for this Saturday

LIBERTY — The third annual Wings and Wheels event to benefit Pickens County Meals on Wheels is scheduled for this Saturday, April 14, at the Pickens County Airport.
The event, which will run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., will feature a classic car show, airplane rides, food and fun for the entire family. Admission is free.
On display at the Cruise-In will be the $26,000 Bobber motorcycle, custom-designed and built by Redneck Engineering, to be given away by Pickens County Meals on Wheels. Tickets will be sold at the event or can be bought online at www.MealsOnWheelsGiveaway.com. On April 30 Pickens County Meals on Wheels will award this one-of-a-kind bike to the winning ticket holder. The giveaway is being sponsored by Eddie Howard, president and owner of Jet Expeditors, Inc., of Easley.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Pickens County Meals on Wheels, and will help provide funding to deliver hot noontime meals to more than 230 Pickens County residents. Volunteers, community contributions and special events like the annual Wings and Wheels event are the essential cornerstones of the Pickens County Meals on Wheels program.
