NOTICE OF LIS PENDENS
Pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. §§ 15-11-10 to -50, Plaintiff hereby gives notice that Plaintiff has commenced an action in this Court against the above-named defendants to quiet tax title to the following described real property: All that certain piece, parcel, or tract of land situate, lying and being in the City of Easley, County of Pickens, State of South Carolina, and lying on the east side of South Fifth Street and being more particularly described according to a plat of same prepared by John C. Smith, Surveyor, on November 23, 1979, as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin at the joint corner of the property herein conveyed and property of DeVore Cantrell, the iron pin being the Northwest corner of the property herein conveyed; thence running along Cantell property line North 71-31-20 East 60.16 feet to an iron pin; thence along Cantrell property line North 82-15-45 East 53.85 feet to an iron pin; thence along W. A. Mauldin Estate property South 04-56-25 East 15.72 feet to an iron pin; thence continuing along Mauldin Estate property North 84-49-05 East 27.47 feet to an iron pin; thence continuing with Mauldin Estate Property South 08-15 West 25.94 feet to an iron pin; thence along T. J. Austin property line South 60-13-30 West 110.42 feet to an iron pin on the East Side of South Fifth Street; thence along South Fifth Street North 30-25-50 West 78.15 feet to the BEGINNING corner. DERIVATION: This being the same property conveyed to Lonella B. McCracken by deed from Wyatt W. Welborn, as Executor of the Estate of Will H. Welborn, dated November 11, 1983, and recorded in Deed Book 14-H at Page 599 in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Pickens County, South Carolina. This also being the same property that Lonella B. McCracken conveyed an undivided one-half interest to George Allen McCracken by deed March 11, 2003, and recorded March 14, 2003 in Deed Book 725 at Page 325 in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Pickens County, South Carolina; and being the same property conveyed to Redrock Capital, LLC by tax deed dated December 29, 2025, and recorded on January 12, 2026, in the Pickens County Register of Deeds Office in Book 2909, page 9. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there has been filed in the Office of the Clerk of Court for Pickens County an Order Appointing Kelley Y. Woody, Esq., whose address is P.O. 2. Kelley Y. SHARON CHRISTINE SONNENBERG, Plaintiff, vs. JOHNNY MARTIN SONNENBERG, Defendant.
Plaintiff, complaining of Defendant, alleges as follows:
1. Plaintiff is a citizen and resident of Pickens County, South Carolina, and Defendant was last known to be a citizen and resident of Pickens County, South Carolina, and has resided for more than one year prior to the commencement of this action.
2. Plaintiff and Defendant were married to each other on March 22, 1997, in Las Vegas, Nevada. During this marriage, no children were born, and none are currently expected.
3. The issues raised in this Complaint are within the exclusive jurisdiction of this Court pursuant to South Carolina Code § 63-3-520 (1976, as amended).
4. This Court has personal and subject matter jurisdiction and is the proper venue for this action.
5. Based upon the parties’ separation on July 11, 2012, Plaintiff is informed and believes she is entitled to an order of this Court awarding her a divorce on the statutory ground of one-year separation.
6. In the alternative, based upon the parties’ separation on July 11, 2012, Plaintiff is informed and believes she is entitled to an order of this Court awarding her a Decree of Separate Maintenance and Support.
7. Plaintiff is informed and believes the parties have divided all assets acquired during the marriage.
8. Plaintiff is informed and believes she should be allowed to resume the use of her maiden name, “Diaz”. Plaintiff’s request to resume the use of her maiden name is not for the purpose of defrauding creditors or any other purpose.
9. There is no possibility of reconciliation.
10. There is no fraud or collusion between the parties for purposes of obtaining a divorce. This action is brought in good faith.
Prayer for Relief
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff prays for an Order of this Court as follows:
A. Granting Plaintiff a divorce on the grounds of one year of separation.
B. Alternatively, granting Plaintiff a decree of Separate Support and Maintenance;
C. Awarding such other and further relief as this Court may deem just and proper.
