Blue Flame hold off Liberty for Harrelson’s 200th career win

PICKENS — After two ugly performances early in the week, the Pickens boys’ basketball team showed no signs of improvement as it fell behind early against Liberty on Friday night.

However, the Blue Flame rallied in the second quarter to take a one-point lead at halftime and held on to a close lead the rest of the way due to standout performances from junior guard Carter McKenzie and freshman forward Brooks Dow in a 69-66 win.
