CLEMSON — A 48-20 home win over a team like Louisiana Tech is expected from the ACC powerhouse Clemson Tigers, but head coach Dabo Swinney said the play on the field was a good way to round out the “first quarter” of the team’s schedule.

I’m thankful that we’ve been able to have some adversity, have some challenges and have

LIBERTY — Former President Woodrow Wilson once said, “the difference between a strong man and a weak one is that the former does not give up after a defeat.”
Wilson’s quote describes resilience. Anyone who follows sports closely knows that resilience is often the deciding factor in who wins
and who loses. After taking two straight losses, and trailing most of its game Friday night, the Liberty High School football team showed

Blue Flame hoping to keep positive momentum after week off
PICKENS — Despite a loss to Southside in their last game on Sept. 2, it’s hard to imagine the Pickens Blue Flame are unhappy with their standing midway through non-conference play.
Coming into the year, there were plenty of questions about the Pickens offense, with the team having to replace both starting quarterback Ryan Ford and star running back Andon Rogers from last season’s squad. However, those questions have seemingly been answered through three weeks of play, with the Blue
