More than 50 [cointent_lockedcontent]Republicans attended the September meeting of the Pickens County Republican Party. The group heard from Dave Swartz, director of Americans for Prosperity. Swartz gave a presentation on road funding and emphasized that there is plenty of tax money available to maintain our roads, but it is being poorly managed. The next meeting will be Oct. 15, where the topic of foreign refugee resettlement will be discussed and explained by a panel of experts.
