• Café Connections to show movie

The public is invited to Café Connections for Family Film Friday to watch “A Charlie Brown Christmas” immediately following the Pickens city Christmas tree lighting on Dec. 1.

The lighting will be at Legacy Square at 6 p.m., and then the movie will be shown a short walk down Main Street at Café Connections. The event is free, and everyone is welcome.

• Holiday Bazaar is Dec. 2 at St. Andrew

The Saint Andrew Holiday Bazaar will take place Saturday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church at the corner of Edgewood and Sloan in Clemson.

It will feature a wide variety of handmade crafts and gifts for all occasions, including wearables, home décor, note and greeting cards, wall art and stocking stuffers.

In addition, home-baked treats and desserts will be for sale and shoppers may enjoy homemade chili for lunch (eat-in or carry out).

No professional vendors are included.

• Gap Hill Church of God to host gift fair

Gap Hill Church of God will host its Holly Jolly Gift Fair from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on Dec. 9.

Gap Hill Church of God is located at 3540 Walhalla Highway in Six Mile. Breakfast plates are $3, lunch plates are $5, and vendors, raffles and Santa will be there.

• Legion Post 67 seeks members

American Legion Post 67 in Liberty is accepting applications for membership from all U.S. military wartime veterans.

• Pickens Lions plan monthly meetings

The Pickens Lions Club is in need of new members. The club meets the first and third Thursday of every month at Pizza Inn in Pickens.

Dinner begins at 6:40 p.m., and the meeting starts at 7 p.m. Meetings are open to anyone interested in joining the club or simply finding out more about the club and how it serves Pickens.
