Duke Energy proposes the construction of a 97.5 meter overall height AGL lattice telecommunications tower and an associated tower compound facility to be located along 6 Mile Mountain Road, in Six Mile, South Carolina (Pickens County). The proposed communications tower will be located at latitude: 34° 49’ 59.3“ N, longitude: 082° 48’ 16.2” W (NAD 83) and will be equipped with a dual mode, medium intensity lighting system (FAA Style E). The proposed communications tower can be identified by FCC Form 854 File Number A1259832. Interested persons may review the application by going to www.fcc.gov/asr/applications and entering the FCC Form 854 File Number A1259832. Interested persons may raise environmental concerns about the structure by filing a Request for Environmental Review with the Federal Communications Commission.
