BY VIRTUE of a decree heretofore granted in the case of Estate of Billy L. Hicks and Cindy P. Hicks v. Zachary Derrick, Nikki Derrick, 1st Franklin Financial, Credit Central, and RMC Financial Services, Case No. 2021-CP-39-00052, I, the undersigned Special Referee, or my Designee, for Pickens County, will sell on January 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Pickens County Courthouse in Pickens, SC, to the highest bidder, the following described property, to-wit:

ALL that certain piece, parcel or lot of land, situate, lying and being in the State of South Carolina, County of Pickens, being shown and designated as Lot 50, on Plat entitled “Long Creek Acres”, prepared by Robert R. TERMS OF SALE: The successful bidder, other than the Plaintiff, will deposit with the Special Referee, or his Designee, at conclusion of the bidding, five percent (5%) of said bid, in cash or equivalent, as evidence of good faith, same to be applied to purchase price in case of compliance, but to be forfeited and applied first to costs and then to Plaintiff’s debt in the case of noncompliance. Should the successful bidder fail or refused to make the required deposit at time of bid or comply with the other terms of the bid within twenty (20) days, then the Special Referee or his Designee may resell the property on the same terms and conditions (at the risk of the said defaulting bidder). NOTICE TO CITIZENS
OF PICKENS COUNTY:
Pursuant to the South Carolina Eminent Domain Procedure Act, Section 28-2-70(c), Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, as amended, notice is hereby given that entry by personnel of the South Carolina Department of Transportation will be made in the area of the roads described below for such purposes as topographic surveys, subsurface exploration, environmental related studies, and for the gathering of any other data necessary for the planning, design, property acquisition, and construction of a bridge replacement project.
The project extends along SC 133 (Crowe Creek Road) over Crow Creek from mile marker 16.089. Improvements include, but are not limited to, replacement of the existing bridges. During demolition and construction of the new bridges, it is anticipated that staged construction will be utilized. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2025.

LEGAL NOTICE
The Pickens County Planning Commission will meet in regular session and conduct public hearings on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Conference Room at the Pickens County Administration Facility, 222 McDaniel Avenue, Pickens, SC.

Prior to the regular meeting and public hearings, the Planning Commission will meet in a worksession at 6:00 p.m. in the same location.
