To: JAMES ADAM VICKERS
Notice is hereby given that on October 27, 2022, at 4:30 p.m., Courtroom 4, Paulding County Courthouse located at 280 Constitution Blvd. Dallas, GA 30132, a hearing will be held on the Petition for Adoption filed In the Matter of BNH, a minor child, before the Superior Court of Paulding County, Adoption File No. 21-CA-00070-P-3 pursuant to an Amended Order For Hearing filed on August 18, 2022. James Adam Vickers is hereby notified of this hearing and is required to appear and show cause, if any he may have, why the Petition for Adoption should not be granted including the Court granting the Motion for Termination of Rights of the Biological Father, James Adam Vickers, filed in conjunction with such adoption.
In addition, pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 19-8-12 (e), NOTICE is also hereby provided to JAMES ADAM VICKERS as follows:
AS THE BIOLOGICAL FATHER AND NOT THE LEGAL FATHER, YOU WILL LOSE ALL RIGHTS TO THE CHILD AND WILL NEITHER RECEIVE NOTICE NOR BE ENTITLED TO OBJECT TO THE ADOPTION OF THE CHILD UNLESS, WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF THIS NOTICE YOU FILE:

(1) A petition to legitimate the child pursuant to Code Section 19-7-22 as a separate civil action;

(2) Notice of the filing of the petition to legitimate with the court in which the action under this Code section, if any, is pending; and

(3) Notice of the filing of the petition to legitimate to the person or agency who provided such notice to such biological father.

Herein, fail not to appear or act as directed under penalty of the termination of your parental rights.

All that certain piece, parcel or lot of land situate, lying and being in the State of South Carolina, County of Pickens, in Hurricane Township, being shown and designated as Lot 3 on a survey entitled “Survey for McShire Associates, Inc.,” dated 04/10/2008, prepared by Stephen R. Edwards & Associates, Inc., and recorded in the ROD Office for Pickens County, SC in Plat Book 600 at Page 82. TERMS OF SALE: The successful bidder, other than the plaintiff, will deposit with the Special Referee for Pickens County at conclusion of the bidding, five percent (5%) of the bid, in cash or equivalent, as evidence of good faith, same to be applied to the purchase price in case of compliance, but to be forfeited and applied first to costs and then to plaintiff’s debt in the case of non-compliance. If the Plaintiff’s representative is not in attendance at the scheduled time of the sale, the sale shall be canceled and the property sold on some subsequent sales day after due advertisement. Should the last and highest bidder fail or refuse to make the required deposit at time of bid or comply with the other terms of the bid within thirty (30) days, the deposit shall be forfeited and the Special Referee for Pickens County may re-sell the property on the same terms and conditions on some subsequent Sales Day (at the risk of the said highest bidder). As a deficiency judgment is being Waived, the bidding will not remain open thirty days after the date of sale. Purchaser shall pay for preparation of deed, documentary stamps on the deed, and recording of the deed. The successful bidder will be required to pay interest on the amount of the bid from date of sale to date of compliance with the bid at the rate of 3.750% per annum. The sale shall be subject to assessments, Pickens County taxes, easements, easements and restrictions of record, and other senior encumbrances.
