John Robert Turpin and Nancy M. Turpin, Petitioners, Vs. Elijah Turpin, MTS Investment Property, LLC, and the County of Pickens, South Carolina, Respondents.

Pursuant to Section 57-9-10, SC Code of Laws, Notice is hereby given that the above-named Plaintiffs intend to file a petition in the Pickens County Court of Common Pleas to permanently close the undeveloped road in running and extending from Turpin Drive to Prince George Road, and request the court to grant the Plaintiffs possession of and title to the property, described as follows, to-wit:
All that certain piece, parcel and strip of land in the County of Pickens, State of South Carolina, being known and designated as a 30’ Undeveloped Road North of Tract A on plat prepared for Michael Schmitt, by Smith Surveyors, Inc., dated March 18, 2022, and recorded on May 9, 2022, in Plat Book 615, at Page 147, at the Office of the Register of Deeds for Pickens County, South Carolina; This also being the same road shown as a 30’ Street South of Tract 4 on plat prepared D.D. Looper, by Robert R. Spearman, RLS #3615, recorded in Plat Book 19 at Page 5, at the Office of the Register of Deeds for Pickens County, South Carolina; This also being the same road identified as 20’ Reserved for Road South of Lot 25 of Holly Hill Subdivision on plat prepared by Thomas C. Keith, Surveyor, dated January 4, 1963, and recorded on January 24, 1963, in Plat Book 12 at Page 43, at the Office of the Register of Deeds for Pickens County, South Carolina; reference to said plats are hereby given for a more complete and accurate description.
The above-named Respondents are named in this action as adjoining property owners of the said road or entities whose property and interest might be affected by such a change.
