ANTONETTE RENE MEYER
PICKENS — Antonette Rene Meyer, 56, of Pickens, went home to be with the Lord on
Oct. 25, 2025, following her two-month fight against a late cancer diagnosis. We take comfort knowing she is now pain free and find peace knowing there are no goodbyes, only “we’ll see you later.”
She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Meyer, and sister, Barbara Clardy, both of whom we know she is elated to be with again.
She is survived by her beloved children, Brittany Arms of Woodruff, Nicholas Pancoast of Pickens and Micheala Chavis of Greenville; her mother, Jane Meyer, and brother, Tony Meyer, both of Pickens; and her cherished grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure, Camden Arms, Levi Pancoast, Kylee Arms, Ethan Mumma, Lexi Chavis, Blair Arms, Lucas Arms, Zoey Chavis, Kara Chavis and Bethany Pancoast. Her greatest joy in life came from her family — especially her grandchildren, who were truly the light of her world.
Antonette had a big, beautiful heart and an even bigger love for the Lord. Her warmth and love will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who was blessed to know her.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at River Hills Baptist Church, 5762 Reidville Road, Moore, SC 29369.
ROGER DALE CHRISLEY
CENTRAL — Roger Dale Chrisley, 75, of Central, passed away on Oct. 25, 2025.
Dale was born in Oconee County to the late Miles B. and Patsy Chrisley. He was a man who embraced life with a warm heart and simple pleasures.
Dale found joy in many things. He was an avid fan of Clemson football. He also had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed feeding and watching birds. His love for animals extended to his pet dogs and cats, who he cared for deeply.
Dale will be remembered for his easygoing spirit and the joy he brought to those around him.
His life was a testament to the beauty of enjoying the little things. He leaves behind fond memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Dale is survived by his daughters, Stacy Chrisley and Barbara Reid; grandchildren, Joshua Dale Owens, Wesley Bingham, Brianna Bingham and Michael Joe Moser; great-grandchildren, Harper Owens, Zaiden Moser and Kayson Moser; nephew, Dana Chrisley; and niece, Rebecca Davis.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Judy Diane Chrisley.

DAVID THOMAS HOLDER
PICKENS — David Thomas Holder, 64, of Pickens, passed away peacefully on Oct. 26, 2025.
David was known for his humor, loyalty and big heart. He had a gift for making people laugh and always knew how to lighten the moment with his quick wit and trademark sayings. A proud fan of the Boston Celtics, Clemson football and the Beatles, David lived life with passion and loved deeply.
He is survived by his former wife and lifelong friend, Margaret Holder. He is also survived by his niece and goddaughter, Rebecca Evans, her husband, Travis, and their children, Bryson and Layla; and his goddaughter and niece, Shelby Lawson.
He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Larry Looper; their daughter, Sydney Cox, and her husband, Sam; his sister-in-law, Mel Cooper; and his niece, Lauren Holder. Also surviving are his cherished Rauschenbach nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Lib Holder; his brother, Freddy Holder; and his beloved nephew, Sam Looper.
He was a quiet believer with a loud laugh, a true friend, a gentle soul and the best uncle anyone could ask for. David will be remembered for his humor, his heart and the love he gave so freely.
A private family service and graveside burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Pickens County Library System’s foundation.
ROBERT WAYNE TAYLOR
CENTRAL — Robert Wayne Taylor, 60, passed away on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Robert was born in Easley, on Aug. 4, 1965, to Jimmy Taylor (Rene Taylor) and the late Marlene Mann. Robert was a person who always looked out after others rather than himself. He was the owner and operator of SC Restorations. Robert loved building and painting cars and even building model cars. He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, drag racing or watching some of his favorite TV shows, Oak Island, Street Outlaws or American Restoration. What Robert cherished most was the time he spent with his family and watching and supporting them in whatever they were doing. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
In addition to his father, Robert is survived by his wife of 35 years, Dana Taylor; two sons, Nick and Jacob Taylor; three stepbrothers, Michael, Roger and John Wayne Mann; and one stepsister, Sonya Richardson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Nov. 9, in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30-2:45 p.m. in the Garden Room.

RICHARD HORACE WIMPEY
PICKENS — Richard Horace Wimpey, 63, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born on Oct. 22, 1962, in Pickens County, Richard was the beloved son of the late Grady Wimpey and Francis Turner Wimpey.
A talented and hardworking man, he spent his life in construction, known for his keen eye and natural skill — he never needed a level because he could see perfection on his own. Richard would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought; his generosity and kindness were felt by everyone who knew him.
He enjoyed dirt track racing, attending car shows and spending time fishing. Some of his greatest joys were the memories made at Dacusville Farm Days with his son, daughter and grandson. Above all, Richard cherished his family. He was a devoted father and loved them deeply and unconditionally, especially his son, daughter-in-law, daughter and grandson. A proud Clemson Tigers fan, he cheered with passion and pride. He loved building props and floats for Matthew and Melissa’s mother, Lesa Cobb, and her dance studio.
There are simply not enough words to fully capture who Richard was — he was genuine, giving, loyal, hardworking and loved beyond measure.
Survivors include his son, Matthew Wimpey (Kaitlyn) of Liberty; daughter, Melissa Wimpey of Pickens; grandson, Leland Wimpey; siblings, Carolyn Simmons, Rickey Wimpey (Marie), Steve Wimpey (Vickie) and Kenneth Wimpey (Michelle); and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by two brothers, Ed Wimpey and Tommy Wimpey.
The family will host a memorial service at 11 a.m. Nov. 22 in the sanctuary of Elljean Baptist Church, 605 Elljean Road, Easley.
Visitation will begin an hour before the service at 10 a.m.
Flowers will be accepted.
