JODY CALIN BROCK MASON

EASLEY — Jody Calin Brock Mason, 36, passed away on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, in Williamston.

Born on July 23, 1989, in Greenville, Jody was the cherished son of Larry Joe Mason and Vanessa Wade Mason. Above all, Jody loved his children dearly and took great joy in being their father. He had a deep love for God and lived his life with a free spirit and a joyful heart. Jody enjoyed playing the guitar and found happiness in music. He had a passion for fast cars and working with his hands, whether fixing, building or operating heavy equipment. He also enjoyed hunting and treasured time spent shopping and making memories with his girls. Known for his humor and infectious laughter, Jody brought light and joy to all who knew him.

Survivors include his parents, Larry and Vanessa Mason of Easley; children, Madelyn Mason, Emma Mason and Aubrianna Mason, all of Easley, and Calin Jay Mason of Virginia; siblings, Dustin Valdez (Britney), Harlei Mason and Destiny Mason; special nephew, Cash Mason; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Mason was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John Paul and Cecil Elizabeth Mason; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Theresa Wade; and cousin, Kameron Jack Wade.

DELORES M. CRAIGO

EASLEY — Delores M. Craigo, 81, loving wife to the late Herchel Craigo, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, at Manna Post Acute in Pickens.

Born on June 4, 1944, in Greenville County, Delores was the cherished daughter of the late R.J. Roach and Louise Smart. A faithful member of Wayside Baptist Church in Easley, Delores found great joy and comfort in attending church and nurturing her spiritual life. She loved her family dearly and treasured every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories through her warmth, devotion and gentle presence.

Delores is survived by her children, Deborah Pierce of Easley and Dennis Broom (Michelle) of Six Mile; grandchildren, Chad Pierce (Mia), Lee Pierce, Brandon Broom and Benjamin Broom; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Pierce and Adalyn Pierce; six brothers; and two sisters.

In addition to her parents, Delores was predeceased by her first husband, Donnie Hammett, her second husband, Dennis “Buddy” Broom, and three brothers.

Memorial services were held on Dec. 20 inthe chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home in Pickens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Delores’ honor may be made to Manna Post Acute, 716 E Cedar Rock St., Pickens, SC 29671.

JO ESTELLE GALLOWAY

LIBERTY — Jo Estelle Galloway, 38, passed away peacefully at her home on Dec. 17, 2025.

Born on Oct. 31, 1987, in Easley, Jo was the cherished daughter of Cynthia D. Collier Galloway and the late Calvin A. Galloway Jr. She was a faithful member of Life Church in Dacusville, where her love for her church family was evident.

Jo had a tender heart and found great joy in the simple things she loved most. She adored her fur baby, kitty Sulley, and enjoyed crocheting and caring for her animals. Her greatest happiness came from her precious niece, Addilynn. Jo lovingly helped Addilynn with her home schooling and treasured every moment spent with her.

Jo is survived by her mother, Cindy Galloway; sister, Samantha Galloway of Liberty; her grandmother, Linda M. Byers of Easley; her very special and precious niece, Addilynn; and many loving and caring aunts, uncles and members of her church family.

In addition to her father, Calvin Galloway, Jo was preceded in death by her brothers, Calvin Daniel Galloway and Benjamin Jefferson Galloway; her grandfather, Robbie Byers; and her grandparents, Calvin Galloway Sr. and Ina Galloway.

The family will hold a visitation from 1-2 p.m. Dec. 27 at Life Church, with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m.

CONNIE LYNN HARRIS

EASLEY — Mrs. Connie Lynn Shelton Harris, 46, loving wife of Steven L. Harris, of Easley, passed away on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Mrs. Harris was born in Greenville on Sept. 3, 1979, to Paul Shelton of Rosman, N.C. and the late Marie Hayes Shelton. Her life was a fishing rod, sitting on a riverbank, fishing for trout. She was a pure country girl who loved riding Harley’s, enjoying family and training horses. Throughout all her life, she loved caring. Her passion for caring was shown by the care she provided for horses.

In addition to her loving spouse that they spent 31 wonderful years together, Mrs. Harris is survived by her two children; Steven Robert Wayne Harris of Easley and Storm Marie Harris Ott (Chris) of Pendleton; her one grandchild, Ellieana; and a brother, Jason Shelton of Easley. She is survived by Steven’s loving mother Frances Harris who was a second mom to her. Mrs. Harris is also survived by her many precious and loving nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Harris was predeceased by her sister, Layla Brock.

The family holding a memorial service on Dec. 23, at The Church of God, 1203 Simms School Road, Central, SC 29630.

KATHERINE T. WHITE

PICKENS — Mrs. Katherine T. White, 85, loving wife of one year to Jerry B. Nix, of Pickens, passed away on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville.

Mrs. White was born in Brattleboro, Vermont, to the late Wilfred Monfette and Rose Tibadeau. Her joy in life was found with time spent with her granddaughter, Katherine and great-grandson, Ricky. She was a person who loved people and stayed busy working up until her 85th birthday. Mrs. White loved going to church and attended Northside Baptist Church here in Pickens. She loved anything to do with her fur babies, Kasey and Rocky, being around water and working in her yard.

In addition to her loving spouse, Mrs. White is survived by her three children; Roger Gauthier (Judy) of Hackberry, Ariz., Elizabeth Herzog (Thomas) of Pickens and Allen Gauthier of York, Pa. along with five additional children she helped to raise; her three loving grandchildren and great grandchild Ricky and sisters Doris Cooke (Bob) of Pickens and Linda Bonfiglio of N.H. Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews and most precious nieces Kelly and Debby who shared with her a special bond.

Having come from a very large family, Mrs. White is predeceased, in addition to her parents, former husband Armand Cliché, a sister and eight brothers.

Memorial donations in Katherine’s honor may be made to Northside Baptist Church, 421 Sangamo Road, Pickens.

PAUL ‘MELVIN’ KELLEY

EASLEY — Mr. Paul “Melvin” Kelley, 70, of Easley, passed away on Dec. 19, 2025, at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville.

Mr. Kelley was born in Pickens, to the late Freeman and Bessie Powell Kelley. Fishing and hunting was Melvin’s joy in life. Dove hunting in the fall was his passion. Melvin absolutely loved his family.

Mr. Kelley is survived by a brother, Tommy Kelley of Pickens, and two sisters, Pat Kelley (Donnie) of Pickens and Mary Baldwin (Johnny) of Easley.

In addition to his parents, Melvin is predeceased by his long-time companion, Helen Merck, a brother, Freeman Kelley Jr., a nephew, Daniel Chapman and a niece, Shawn Case.
