Daniel baseball drops tiebreaker game with Crescent

ANDERSON — The Daniel High School baseball team will have to wait at least one more year to break its befuddling region-title drought that dates all the way back to the Nixon administration.

Despite no shortage of heroic moments and gritty effort over 11 innings of action, the Lions came up just short of third-ranked Crescent in the teams’ first-place tiebreaker game on Tuesday night, as the Tigers captured the Western 3A region
