Daniel takes down Duluth for first out-of-state win since 1995

CENTRAL — The last time the Daniel High School football team played an out-of-state opponent, head coach Jeff Fruster was still playing for the Lions.

On Friday night, a streak dating back to 1995 was broken, as the top-ranked Lions topped Duluth (Ga.) by a score of 41-19 at Singleton Field for their 17th straight regular-season win.
