Day named new wrestling coach at Liberty High School

LIBERTY — Liberty High School named Nathan Day as the new Red Devil wrestling coach this week.

Day comes to Liberty from Battery Creek High School, where he coached for 16 years. During his time as the head coach, the team won six state championships, which is the fourth most in S.C. history. He has also coached 30 individual state champions — fifth most in the history of the state. His career record is 404-82-2.
