Easley High German students attain national recognition

EASLEY — German language students from Easley High School attained national recognition for excellent performance on the 2015 National German Examinations.

Two dozen students earned a total of four silver and four bronze medals, along with 16 honorable mentions.

The National German Examinations are administered and sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of German.

Almost 25,000 students from nearly 700 schools participated in the 2015 National German Exam.

Students from EHS have a long history of high achievement on the exams and were taught by German teacher Monika Santiago.
