PICKENS — Local elected officials will face questions from the public at a town hall meeting focusing on the Pickens area early next month.

Set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, the meeting will be held at the Pickens Senior Center at 129 School House St. in Pickens.

State House Rep. Davey Hiott will answer questions, along with State Sen. Rex Rice. Trustee Shannon Haskett will field questions related to the Pickens County School Board, while Pickens Mayor Fletcher Perry will provide insight into city matters and Pickens County Councilman Alex Saitta will answer
