PICKENS — After playing one of their best games of the season against Liberty before the holiday  break, the Pickens Blue Flame girls’ basketball team returned to action last week against the Next School Eagle Ridge Eagles.

Despite the break, the Blue Flame showed no holiday rust, scoring a season high as they defeated the Eagles 69-14 on Jan. 4.
