Goat exposes four to rabies

COLUMBIA — Four people in Pickens County have been potentially exposed to rabies by a young goat that tested positive for the disease.

A statement released Tuesday by the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control said the victims were exposed to rabies while giving general care to the goat.
