LIBERTY — First-year Liberty High head football coach Kyle Stewart’s supporting staff was officially announced at a recent player and parent meeting.

Offensively, John Schumpert will be assistant head coach and offensive line coach, while Marty Shirley will coach running backs and special teams. Newcomer Josh Wilson will lead the Devil tight ends and wide receivers.

On the other side of the ball, Cory Drennon will handle defensive coordinator duties and coach inside linebackers, while three new hires will coach the defensive line, outside linebackers and defensive backs in Keith Martin, Brad Hampton and Sparky Finley, respectively. Dale Burrell will also act as a defensive assistant.
