Lions head into region play with unblemished record

CENTRAL — The first half of the 2019 high school football season has come and gone, and for the Daniel Lions, it has gone about as well as it could go.

The Lions (4-0) are off to an incredibly hot start, outscoring opponents 196-52 as they escaped region play with a spotless record.

“We have a little momentum,” Daniel coach Jeff Fruster said of his team entering last week’s open date. “We have something to carry us through the off week.
