Long-time Pickens photographer offers collection to public

PICKENS — Ralph Anderson, owner of Anderson’s Portrait Photography Studio in Pickens, has announced his retirement and the closure of his practice.
As a result, he is making available a collection of unique portraits of his subjects. These were made during his 20 years (1982-2002) of practicing the art of portraying the human personality through the eye of the camera.
Having lived in the city of Pickens since 1981, Anderson has demonstrated his professional artistry with unusual success, thus earning a reputation of lasting value. Therefore, this collection of photographic portraiture would be of particular significance throughout Pickens County and the surrounding area.
Art museums, art commissions and interested individuals may contact Anderson by telephone at (864) 878-3556. All will receive a prompt reply.
