COLUMBIA — Gov. Henry McMaster appointed Cindy S. Crick as new solicitor for the 13th Judicial Circuit via an executive order Friday.

Crick’s appointment followed the resignation of Solicitor Walt Wilkins, who announced his retirement on May 29 after serving more than 14 years in the office.
