Hester Store & Co., located at 1735 Hester Store Rd. in Easley celebrated its official grand opening Sept. 27 and what a celebration it was. The event was filled with familiar faces, joyful memories, delicious treats, and a strong sense of community spirit. Pictured Pickens Chamber Board Member David Michel is Pickens with store owners David Cody Rathbon and Tasha Diann Carpenter, as the duo cut the ribbon. The new owners, who are are veterans and a brother and sister team, are beginning an exciting journey, where there dedication and hard work have brought new life to the historic building, that has been a part of the community for generations.
