COUNTY — A moratorium on large-scale developments in Pickens County is aimed at giving county council time to strengthen standards governing such developments and growth in general, according to county administrator Ken Roper.

Roper fielded questions from residents during a recent “Ask the Administrator” video posted on the county’s Facebook page.
