Historic Hampton House 1908 has opened to the public. The former Gilstrap home on Hampton Avenue in Pickens will be host to weddings, corporate events, leadership/diversity and inclusion training and curated special events like foodie getaways, girls’ weekends, etc. On hand to cut the ribbon were owner Beth Velner and officials from the city of Pickens, Greater Pickens Chamber of Commerce and Pickens County Historical Society.
