SC Waffle Fest ’25 set for downtown Liberty
LIBERTY — The city of Liberty will host a brand-new festival in 2025.
The event is the first-ever Waffle Fest and will be presented by the U.S. Waffle Company.
The festival will take place on March 29 on South Commerce and West Front Street in downtown Liberty from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., rain or shine. The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

Peach State Federal holds annual toy drive
COUNTY — Peach State Federal Credit Union recently held its annual toy drive in support of the Marine Toys for Tots program.
Every year, the credit union sets up donation boxes at branches, which serve as convenient drop-off sites for members and staff to donate new, unwrapped toys.

The Alzheimer’s Association Easley Caregiver Support Group will be meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 14, in the conference room upstairs at the Captain Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library, located at 304 Biltmore Road in Easley.
The meeting is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.. All Alzheimer’s and dementia caregivers are welcome.
