SIX MILE – A woman has been charged in an armed robbery that took place in Six Mile on Monday night.

Local man charged with sex crimes

COUNTY — A Pickens County man is charged with multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after an investigation by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office.

Armed robbery suspect shot, killed by deputies

COUNTY — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is investigating after the suspect in an Easley armed robbery was shot and killed by Greenville County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the man shot as 45-year-old Sean Michael Scales of Mauldin.

Pickens County Council debates rec funding

COUNTY — Pickens County Council convened Tuesday to discuss multiple requests for emergency recreation funding.
