Robinson to serve as president of the National Funeral Directors Association

BROOKFIELD, Wis. — During its 2024 International Convention and Expo, held Oct. 20-23 in New Orleans, Christopher P. Robinson, CFSP, CCO, of Easley, was officially installed as the 2024-25president of the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA).

Teenager shot dead in Easley

EASLEY — The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office and the Pickens County Coroner’s Office are investigating a shooting at an Easley motel that left a teenager dead.

Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley identified the victim as 17-year-old Robert Preston Crawford.
