Man arrested in murder cold case

EASLEY — A Clinton man has been charged in the 2021 shooting death of an Easley resident.

Jay’Kwon Tajeek Walker, 24, faces murder and other charges in connection with the killing of 32-year-old Heyward “Trey” Price III.

Pickens addresses vendors shut out at Trump campaign event

PICKENS — The city of Pickens has apologized for shutting out committed vendors from setting up shop during a July 1 rally for former President Donald Trump.
