Pickens County Council updated on planned water treatment plant

PICKENS — Pickens County Council recently received an update from the Pickens Regional Joint Water System about the water treatment plant to be built on Lake Keowee.
PRJWS is an agreement between the Easley-Central Water District, the Pickens County Water Authority, the Six Mile Rural Community Water District and the city of Liberty. The purpose of the joint water authority is to obtain a water source from Lake Keowee to provide long-term drinking
