Following its Super Saturday on Sept. 20, the Pickens Recreation Department hosted a community NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Competition. Boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 15 were welcome to compete. Winners in each age division were as follows: 8/9 girls 1st-Cora Levy, 2nd-Molly Fowler; 8/9 boys-1st-Elijah Cox; 10/11 girls 1st-Ally Niles, 2nd-Morgan Johnson; 10/11 boys 1st-Braxton LaMance, 2nd-Zander Gravely, 3rd-Ryan Ford; 12/13 girls 1st-Alexis Holliday; 12/13 boys 1st-Collin Fowler, 2nd–Ty Gossett, 3rd–Grayson Pace; 14/15 girls – no competitors; 14/15 boys 1st-Hudson Burgess, 2nd-Jaden Howard, 3rd-Brandon Batson. The first-place winners in each division will now advance to the sectional competition some time in October/November.
